How To Install

1. To install Date Time Duration, first download the free trial (Click the version 1.0 link, if Windows XP).
2. Ensure the downloaded file is not being “blocked”, as follows:
   • a ) From Windows File Explorer, go to your “Downloads” folder.
   • b ) Right-click the DateTimeDuration.zip file, select Properties.
   • c ) If you see an Unblock button, click Unblock, then OK:

3. Unzip the DateTimeDuration.zip file to a desired folder (Note: Unzipping to the “Downloads” folder is NOT recommended!). Make note of the desired folder, for later.
4. Open Microsoft Excel, and go to Excel Options (Your version may differ):

5. Select the Add-Ins tab, then click Go…:

6. Click Browse… and browse for the DateTimeDuration.xll file that you unzipped in step 2:

That’s it!

How To Use

To use version 1.0, follow the same instructions for the latest version.

How To Adjust Security

If you have our software installed but it is not working as expected, your Office security settings may need to be configured. To configure, follow the same instructions for the latest version.

How To Uninstall

To remove Date Time Duration from your computer:

1. Open Microsoft Excel, and go to Excel Options (Your version may differ):

2. Select the Add-Ins tab, then click Go…:

3. Un-check the DateTimeDuration Add-In item, then click OK:

4. If desired, you can go to Windows Explorer and delete the DateTimeDuration.xll file that you unzipped during installation.
